On march 21 2015, we had the great fortune of volunteering at the Atlanta Community Food Bank.  Having visited once before the previous year for the Hunger 101 class where we learned of the needs of food banks and pantries,  the roles of  individuals, communities and government agencies, as well has how the food banks operate, we were looking forward to actually doing our part.

We learned what items were accepted at the food bank, how to properly sought the item, as well as the distribution process. After learning the does and don’ts, we commenced sorting while listening to music and having fun while doing it.
